Advent marks the beginning of anticipation and quiet reflection before Christmas. And one of its most cherished symbols is the Christmas wreath. We warmly invite you to weave your own on December 6 at Paliesius Manor!
A handmade Christmas wreath can become a beautiful festive decoration for your home—or a thoughtful early gift for loved ones. As you weave, you can give your creativity free rein and enjoy a wonderful time spent together. Craft a wreath guided entirely by your own taste and inspiration, thoughtfully combining evergreen branches with the rich colors of Lithuanian and exotic botanicals.
At Paliesius Manor, we will provide all the necessary tools and materials. However, should you wish to weave something unique or personal into your creation, please do bring it along!
We invite you to prepare for Christmas in your own creative way!
Christmas Eve is unimaginable without kūčiukai on the table, and baking them is a centuries-old Lithuanian tradition. Why not bake your own at Paliesius Manor on December 6?
Both the words “Kūčios” and “kūčiukai” are connected to the spirits of the departed, the “kočios.” Our ancestors believed that spirits visited the home just before Christmas—kūčiukai were offered as a feast for them, shaped like tiny loaves of bread. Even today, they remain one of the essential centerpieces of the Christmas Eve table.
At Paliesius Manor, we will bake two kinds of kūčiukai: the traditional recipe, just as it was in times of old, and an enriched, wonderfully flavored variety. You will be able to place your freshly baked creations on your own holiday table, bringing it even more coziness and deep meaning.
Prepare for the holidays with joy at Paliesius Manor!
Nestled within the Paliesius Manor icehouse, the Wild Geese (Laukinės Žąsys) boutique holds hidden stories from all over the world… We invite you to discover them! And if you cannot yet visit the manor in person but are already curious to see what awaits, take a look around our online shop.
